How to Get Here

 

There is an overnight ferry from Aberdeen to Lerwick. Details of ferries from Aberdeen to Lerwick are available at :

You can fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness to Sumburgh Airport. Further South you can fly with Easyjet or Ryanair from London Stansted to Glasgow or Edinburgh and from Luton with Easyjet to Aberdeen and Inverness with reasonable connections to Fly-be Flights which takes you on to Shetland (other options are available for you to research). However you travel, you will need to get to the ferry at Toft for the short trip across Yell Sound to Ulsta. (Bookings 01595 745804).  NOTE: The ticket you purchase on the ferry from Toft allows access, without any further charge, to Unst and Fetlar ONLY on the day of purchase. Please refer to the link below for details of the ferries.
